Free gravel route planner · Northern England beta

Plan a gravel ride.

Explore bridleways, byways, towpaths, tracks and quiet lanes. Build a route, see which surfaces and cycling access are confirmed, then send it to your GPS.

Coverage is growing across Northern England. Start with the Calder Valley guides below.

What every line on the map tells you

Whether you can ride it

Solid blue means a right to cycle backed by the council record. Dashed blue is a recorded right awaiting a council check. Hollow dashes mean check first: the track is there, but cycling isn't confirmed.

What it's made of

Surfaces come from mapped evidence. Where nobody knows, we say unknown instead of guessing, so a ride's gravel share is never inflated.

Where your ride needs checking

Every ride shows its unconfirmed stretches and busy roads before you export, and the GPX carries the same warnings to your head unit. About route information
